This policy applies to all apps published by Etage Softworks: BlessText, LBSY, and Musical Colors. For an itemized, per-app breakdown of exactly what is collected, see the Data Policy.
BlessText collects your phone number (used as your account identifier and verified by SMS), an optional display name, and — only if you choose to use the family-matching feature — entries from your device contacts. Messages, photos, and videos you send are end-to-end encrypted before they leave your device; we cannot read their contents. BlessText uses Google AdMob, which independently collects advertising and device identifiers, IP address, and basic app-interaction and diagnostic data. See Data Policy for details.
LBSY and Musical Colors are audio-reactive visualizers. Audio used to drive visuals is processed on-device and is not uploaded or stored. Neither app currently has an account system.
Data collected by BlessText is used solely to operate the app: signing you in, connecting you with the family members you choose to message, and delivering your messages and media to them. Advertising identifiers collected via AdMob are used by Google to show and measure ads within the free tier of the app; we do not sell data to third parties.
BlessText messages and media are encrypted with keys only held by the members of a conversation. Deleting your account removes your profile, your access to every conversation you were part of, and any media you personally sent. Because conversations are shared, this does not retroactively remove copies still held by other participants in that conversation — the same way deleting your account from any messaging app does not un-send messages already delivered to someone else's device.

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Data in transit is protected with TLS. BlessText messages and media are additionally end-to-end encrypted, as described above.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
